DeVry is a shadow of who they were before. They went from a credible institution who's degrees brought great careers, to a money making institution that teaches online classes and care nothing about the career of a student. They charge plenty, but believe me, it is not close to being worth it.

DeVry University was the perfect fit for me.

I attended DeVry University at the Seven Hills OH campus from March 2010 to July 2012 in the Computer Information Systems program. I took both on campus courses as well as online classes and maintained a full time course status. They accepted nearly all of my transfer credits from Lakeland Community College (1989-1992) so it did not take long to get my Bachelors Degree. My professors were wonderful. The administration and staff were always happy, pleasant to work with and always without fail helpful when needed. I did not have any problems with financial aid. I also handled the financial aid and signing up for my courses on my own and found the process to be easy to understand. Whenever I had questions, my advisors were right there to help. I did not have a bad experience at all in my time at DeVry. But, I also worked very hard. I did not miss class. I did not turn in my assignments late (ever). I set high standards for myself so that I could meet my goal to graduate with the highest honors. Which is exactly what I did. You only get out of your educational experience what you put into it. If you don't do the work, do not expect to get the grade. If you do not put in the effort to promote yourself, no one is going to do that for you. DeVry did not promise me anything. It was up to ME and ME alone to take up my responsibilities and make it a success or not. Oh...and I got my foot in the door for an interview where I currently work, because one of the managers also went to.. you guessed it. DeVry University.
