Best University if you want to work in the aerospace field
By Forever an Eagle, From MD
Fantastic university with small class sizes, challenging curriculum, hands-on learning, and professors who care. Even freshmen can participate in research projects with the grad students and professors! If you are passionate about aerospace, this is the university for you.

It you love aviation it's the place to be.
By Class of 2018, From Daytona Beach, Florida
Like many others i came in as an AE major before find my place in another department. If you love aviation, are incredibly driven, and are willing to seek out scholarships this is the perfect place for you. If you just want to drink and party go somewhere else. One of the best parts of Riddle is also the thing that leads to bad reviews. Compared to other schools Riddle has fairly laid back admissions requirements. This leads to a chuck of students coming in each year who on paper shouldn't be in a program this difficult. Students who come here and can't hack it often point to the lower requirements as a money grab. But the truth is Riddle is giving students who may have started hs slow and finished strong, the ability to try. I've known students who have come in with low GPAs that had to grind everyday to keep up and I knew students who came in with large academic scholarships that could almost sleepwalk through the first semester. By the end of sophomore year some of the students who were the most successful in hs had flunked out and some of the grinders were at the top of the heap. I'm not going to tell you it's not expensive but it's also not a hidden price. Riddle will tell you its going to be expensive. It's just a matter of whether you love aviation enough to sacrifice partying and fulling invest in your studys.

Best university for aerospace
By Flygirl, From Florida
Amazing university with a focus on aerospace. Small class sizes, and many hands on opportunities in research for undergrads, which is unheard of in many universities. Aerospace Engineering program is tops!!!

Great University for Veterans
By Joe, From Jacksonville, FL
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Aerospace Engineering from ERAU. The course load is challenging, but the professors and the facilities are awesome. This is a tough school, so I can understand that a lot of students don't make it through to graduate. To succeed at ERAU you have to really put in the work. I think the few negative comments were made by former students that were not mature enough to handle the course load ERAU. The town of Daytona Beach is super small. So if you are used to a big city, Daytona will be a change for you. Perhaps even a welcome change. Although it is a small town, there is a lot going on here. You just have to seek it out. There are many local magazines with happenings going on around town. Also, ERAU is not far from Orlando. I lived off campus, and one semester had an apartment 2 blocks from the ocean. That was incredible. Yes, there are a lot of professors that are former military officers. ERAU has the largest ROTC program in the country. I liked having their prospective on life.

Not What I Hoped For
By Joe of 2018 Class, From Atlanta
Somehow I managed to last four years at ERAU. It was neither a fun nor interesting experience. If you are not interested in airplanes don't go here. If you ARE interested in airplanes go somewhere else and save the money for grad school. Daytona is a strange place to have a private university. Not a cultural town (unless beer, Harley's, and NASCAR is your idea of culture). On the bright side, the locals think you're a rocket scientist if you go here.

Exceptional Online Program
By Masters Graduate 2018, From Atlanta
The school offers a unique experience online. Through the years I have been there, they have improved the modes of learning and provides a great research library. Planning on pursuing a Doctorate with them in the future.

Too many ex military faculty that train and not teach. You feel as if most lectures are war stories not learning
