Best School in the DFW, Hands Down
By Jason H., Class of 2012, From Austin, Texas
I graduated in 2012 from the music school with a business minor. UNT Boasts the largest music school in the nation, with faculty acclaimed around the world. The social life at North Texas is a perfect place to engage with people around you, and the school spirit has really increased in the last ten years. Athletics are finally a priority, which is great to see. The facilities at the school are top of the line, with many buildings being less than 15 years old. Several top programs not only in the country, but around the world including Jazz, speech pathology, and a top 25 program for online MBA. Fraternities and Sororities are numerous and actually philanthropic. Overall I'd go back if I hadn't already!

Great School
By Class of 2018, From Tampa FL
I graduated in 2018, Its a good school for veterans as they will take your military credits. Class are pretty small outside the business class. Lot to do around campus, even though I was a non- traditional student. Denton is not the most awesome city, but Dallas is just 30 min away. The down side are the old buildings. they do have some new ones being built though. Maybe 30% of the buildings are new. Some great professor, some not so great, but this is every school. Parking is crazy. You have to pay each year or by semester. Even when you pay, you still may not find parking. They will tow every chance they get. Tuition Expensive! with all that said, you do get a good education.

Good school with a lot of potential
By Class of 2015, From Austin, TX
UNT really is a great school but unless it has a specific program you want I wouldn't recommend it as your first choice. Many of the classes are taught by graduate students when they really shouldn't be. Also the road system is poorly maintained which makes driving unpleasant. Denton itself is actually pretty fun considering how small it is, but safety tends to be an issue.
