University of Alabama--Huntsville User Reviews and Ratings
Above average public university
By Josh V - Class of 2016, From Nashville, TN
I graduated from UAH in May 2016 with a bachelor degree in Finance. The finance faculty was exceptional. Some of the other departments were not as good so I'm glad the finance department outshone the others. This school is no frills. Not the best party atmosphere. You go, get your degree, and get employed. It's 3 years later and I'm happy with my career direction (I didn't stay in Huntsville though.) As far as other public universities in Alabama are concerned, I think UAH is on the same level with UA and AU, and is much better than UAB, UNA, Troy etc. Huntsville is a smart city and UAH students are generally smart and have a good head on their shoulders. The worst things about UAH? The parking admin, campus "police," and on campus-housing.
