It boasts more than 130 highly qualified teachers from all over the world, including residential hall teachers, with the ratio of Chinese and foreign teachers at about 1:1. The current student body amounts to 650. YWIES Primary and Lower Secondary programmes integrate the best essence and practices of both Chinese and Western education, lay emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, teamwork and problem solving. In addition to Chinese, Mathematics, English, Music, PE, Visual Arts, a great number of featured courses are provided, including Drama, Orchestra, Spanish, and so on. Cambridge IGCSE and A Level is offered at Upper Secondary.
