Admission is competitive and based on a combination of prior academic coursework, GPA, current professional position, length and quality of prior work experience, GMAT/GRE scores, resume, statement of purpose, 3 letters of recommendation, and an interview with two or more members of the Admission Committee. The EMBA degree is a 48-hour program completed as a cohort in a pre-defined sequence. Students study leadership principles, practices, and contemporary issues as they integrate into business. The Anderson MACCT prepares students with or without accounting backgrounds in the accounting profession to be experts in areas such as taxation, information assurance, auditing, finance, fraud, and managerial accounting.
