Full-time MBA program

Admission is holistic, based on GPA, letters of recommendation, essay, and equivalent of one year full-time professional work experience. Decisions are on a rolling basis. The GMAT/GRE is optional and not submitting them does not negatively impact one’s application. Students may submit a video essay. Interviews are required for students with less work experience.

Executive MBA program

Admission is holistic, based primarily on depth and quality of professional experience. Applicants should have minimum of 7 years’ work experience and be employed full-time. Letter of recommendation from manager, goal statement, undergraduate transcript, and admissions interview are required. GRE or GMAT is not required. All admitted students are considered for merit-based scholarship.

Full-time program

Highly experientially based program tied to world class industries unique to a Boston location. 14 to 20 courses (36 to 51 credits) comprised of core, required and elective MBA courses. Core course waivers may be granted depending on background. Sixteen different MBA concentrations are offered (https://www.suffolk.edu/business/degrees-programs/mba/graduate/master-of-business-administration/concentrations). Global or domestic travel seminars are required for both full and part time students. Students work with 6 - 10 different business clients across the course of their program. Deeply embedded in Boston business culture. Capstone course uniquely focuses on change leadership in a highly disruptive business environment. We do not differentiate the curriculum between full time and part-time; thus, the program is highly flexible and richly diverse.

Executive program

The accelerated, cohort-based, 16-month Saturday program emphasizes developing leadership competencies and strategic thinking. It includes 3 one-week experiential residencies focusing on leadership & team building (in FL); public policy (in Washington DC); and global business (rotating international locations) that incorporate flash consulting engagements at global companies. The program culminates in an integrative individual capstone project.

Part-time program

Students participate in live interactive learning sessions with guest professionals and company leaders. The online program features the same curriculum and professors as the campus based program. Online program is designed to be completed over 7 weeks and has been designed by top instructional designers.

Specialty master's program

The business school offers full and part-time specialized master programs in accounting, business analytics, finance, healthcare administration, management studies, marketing, public administration and tax. These programs are globally and career focused with hands-on learning experiences in Boston and abroad. Accelerated and dual degree options available as well as a variety of STEM-designated programs.
