A Solid Liberal Arts Education

I studied science, math, literature, history and electives for a solid, wide base on which to build my teaching profession. I was so well prepared at MCLA, that when I moved to California, San Jose State University invited me to be a Master Teacher for their education undergraduates. MCLA's size was a great benefit in giving me an opportunity for leadership, as well as to enjoy meaningful and lasting friendships. Over the years,, this has given me the confidence to assume international responsibilities alongside graduates of top-ranked schools. Certainly, MCLA's affordability was an important factor for me to study at this college. It was a great, all round experience in motivating me to continue my graduate education. Yes, MCLA provided a solid four years.

I taking BS in computer science there, my department is very small. There are only 3 professors at this time, and every one are great and super helpful. I'm also a full time employee. They offer hybrid class which is fit my schedule very well. They using technology like Discord, Skype or canvas which allow us to ask or working on the project together without going to school. I get responded from my professor right away.

How did this make top ten??

MCLA is not that great of a college. I go there now for my Master's, and graduated there with a B.A. The only reason I go there now is it's the only college around that offers the Master's program I am taking. In a nutshell, the professors suck at communicating, they teach conflicting ways of doing things in their courses, and the advisors just don't do their jobs. If you are ever looking for feedback or guidance in any way, look somewhere else, because you won't get it from anyone here! I have been misled by so many people and had to figure things out for myself when I should have had assistance. There have been MANY times when I have contacted both professors and advisors asking for help or guidance with something, and I wouldn't hear back for days, if not at least a week, if ever at all. I have submitted assignments for feedback a week before they were due, and wouldn't hear back until the night before the due date. Like I said, this has occurred with more than one person. I do not recommend this school to anybody who is serious about their future.
