University of Tulsa User Reviews and Ratings
Individualized preparation and rigorous curriculum
By F, Class of 2013, From Boston, MA
I transferred to TU from another school and have since started graduate school at a top tier university. From experiences at the other schools (and teaching in grad school) I can tell you that professors at TU are more engaged and have higher expectations of students than the top 30 school that I teach (as a TA). At TU I spoke, regularly, with all of my professors. Maybe it's a product of size, but I think that the atmosphere of scholarly learning is taken seriously by the professors and students that participate - who are the majority.

Not a school for liberal arts

The administration has clearly shows that they don't care about the education of the people in the school of Arts and Sciences. I would not recommend going to this university unless you are studying petroleum engineering.
