Best of Both Worlds

I am a senior at Union. I really love the trimester system for the most part, and have been able to take really amazing classes with great professors. The Geology department is a hidden gem. I was able to be an Interdepartmental major, so I majored in both Geology and English, with a minor in Classics. I was able to travel to the west coast for my thesis research for free (and with a generous stipend). I am a part of Greek Life on campus, which has a larger presence than the school would like it to. It's easy to have a great social life without being Greek, but many people are. The food is very decent, especially with an organic salad, smoothie, and sandwich place on campus. I was given generous grants and scholarships to attend, which is so helpful considering the cost of attending an institution like this. I do feel as prepared as I can be for the future ahead, thanks to great professors and advisors on campus.
