I got a job prior to graduation! The training is fantastic. I learned so much from the program.

College of Business Administration

By Class of 2020, From New Jesrsey

Rider's business program is fantastic, and the school does not get enough credit for it. The business administration faculty is dedicated to helping students gain the knowledge that is necessary to succeed in an industry that has become increasingly dynamic. In fact, Rider's Business Administration program is dedicated to connecting students with employers (both big and small) to gain hands-on experience through internships and co-ops. From my experience as an Accounting major, I got the opportunity to receive experience at a small public accounting firm, and I will be interning at a big four accounting firm this summer. Getting this type of diverserfied experience is one of the reasons why I chose Rider. I feel equipped with knowledge and experience that will help me succeed as I enter the workforce.

Underrated on this website...

By Student, Class of 2018, From New Jersey

The business school does a great job with pretty much everything. Lots of connections, and the location and placement rates are a major factor. I firmly believe that the faculty has the experience, the credentials, and the knowledge to take this school to another level.

It's not that bad!

By Class of 2021, From New Jersey

It's really not that bad here. First, the campus is very suburban. If you exit left of the campus and travel 10 minutes you get farmland, and if you do the same but to the right you get into Trenton territory. There is a decent greek life presence and there are over hundreds of clubs to join on campus. If you can't find a certain activity or club, make one. Rider makes it simple. The small class sizes makes it easy for students to connect with their professors and get to hands-on learning, although if you are not one to attend class, this is not ideal. The food is increasing but still not the best. I have seen other universities with much worse food, you just have to keep in mind nothing you will get at college will be like moms cooking. The dorms have been rated one of the worst dorms nationally, I beg to disagree. Are there better dorms? Yes, but Rider has regular standard dorms. You get a bed, closet, dresser, desk, and a shelf for each roommate. Most dorms have air conditioning too (only freshman dorms have no air conditioning). I haven't personally experienced a situation where I needed to call public safety but I know people that have and they respond pretty fast to make sure everyone is safe. Rider is also currently going through a campus transformation to upgrade basically everything. Better living, better food, better classes, and overall a better experience. So that is something to keep in mind. The school is expensive but if you go and talk to financial aid (in person), they are extremely helpful. Over the phone or even email isn't the best, but if you talk to anyone from the school in person it is a much better experience.
