What kind of dorm choices are there

For first years, you get to choose between Mesa Courts, Mesa Towers (I Recommend), Middle Earth, Middle Earth Towers (Coming in 2019), and for Transfers (Anywhere that isn't the above). I recommend living in any of the housing i listed above, and after your first year, try to live in UTC at one of the UTC apartments, or in Oxford Courts. Living in Arroyo Vista is popular if you want to be near Greek Life, and living in VDC Norte, VDC, or Turtle Rock is if you want to be far from everyone and prefer more quiet life (good for introverts). But you don't go to college to stay inside, I recommend trying to find people you really click with, and not just people who will convince you to do things that you don't want to do. But finding people you want to get along with, who want to support you and not peer pressure you to do risky things. You can find a good balance anywhere. And honestly when in doubt. Ask while you are living in "first-year" dorms.
