You will love Brown!
By Danny, Class of 2005, From NY
You will absolutely love it here! The students at Brown are friendly and laid back. When you first meet them, you think, "oh, what a nice, ordinary student." Then, you might go to their dorm and see an amazing huge painting that they created which will knock your socks off. Or they'll be ranked 2nd in a martial arts. Or they will have created a super profitable company at the age of 15. But they're so chill and noncompetitive that you might never even know what talents they have. The teachers are also fantastic. Super friendly and incredibly engaging. I had classes so good, I couldn't stop from smiling in class. The administration is also super supportive. Want to take all your classes pass-fail? Go for it. Want to shop for classes until halfway through the semester? Sure, explore at your heart's content. They do whatever it takes to help you learn and achieve your goals.

Best school ever
By Jack, M., From Maine
Brown really caught my attention during my tour when I learned about the open curriculum and saw the beautiful campus. I put it in the back of my mind as I didn't think I would be admitted (my school historically does not have the best relationship with Brown and also its crazy hard to get into). I ended up at Brown after the whole college process concluded and I can confidently say that there is no other school I would rather be attending. The people are amazing, the school itself is great, its fun and classes are taught very well. I would say the vibe is a laid back one, yet the students are still incredibly motivated and interested people. The open curriculum and the pass fail policy are great things that really bring down competition and stress. Thayer street parallel to campus has all the cheap, open-late restaurants you could want and downtown providence is surprisingly pretty cool. Seriously, I would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic use of material
By Art C, Class of 2019, From San Francisco, California
I can't believe I found a collage that so fits me. Other collages are not nearly as diverse or vibrant as Brown— the people, the leaves on the grounds, the local newspaper clippings (of the Brown Daily Herald, no less) all mix to form an experience that is at once unabashed and deeply educational. I've learned so much about myself through watching and learning from Brown University.
